Over the last 12 months, ATi has seen a 35% increase in staff following business doubling over the past three years.  This influx of new employees has been brought in to strengthen and maintain the company’s high standards of business and customer service.

Mark Bastable 2The last quarter of 2016 saw ATi welcome four new team members, who have already started to make their mark and are proving to provide an invaluable service.  Mark Bastable joined ATi in a newly created role as our Head of Fire and Gas Detection and many of our valued customers will have already had the pleasure of meeting our new gas expert. Previously a fully certified Aircraft Engineer, Mark understands the importance of ensuring the solution to a requirement is achieved correctly, and that the customer is fully supported during the lifetime of the equipment.  Formerly with Draeger UK/Ireland, Monicon and Honeywell Analytics (formerly Sieger and Zellweger), Mark has nearly 20 years’ experience in the projects and sales environment and has seen the gas detection industry develop technically, and is able to apply this to our customer’s needs.  We look forward to bringing this knowledge into the marketplace with Mark.

Brendan, Alex an OliverOliver Bowler, Alex Burbidge and Brendan Cocker all joined our Service Team as Apprentice Service and Repair Engineers.  Alex and Oliver have a few months ATi experience under their belts now, but Brendan is our newest recruit and only joined us in January 2017.  Based on site in the company’s head office in Saddleworth, Oliver, Alex and Brendan are responsible for calibrating, repairing and servicing all ATi equipment and monitors, whilst also working towards an Electrical Engineering apprenticeship at Oldham Technical College.

AliciaAlicia Bardsley joined us in December as Network Monitoring Administrator and has taken to her new role like a duck to water!  After studying English Literature and Language at Salford University, and then enjoying three years working in restaurant management, Alicia was looking for a new challenge and successfully applied for a role within ATi.  In Alicia’s role as Network Monitoring Administrator, she will be supporting ATi’s network monitoring team by dealing with orders, stock, annual data subscriptions and organising servicing.

Matt CadeThe New Year saw us welcome Matt Cade as our South East Engineer.  Matt will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and commissioning field-based water quality monitors and gas detectors across the South East of the UK.  The addition of Matt into our Service Team means that the South of England is now covered by three ATi Engineers, which will result in enhanced customer service.  Based in Maidstone, Matt brings to Analytical Technology over 20 years’ experience in field engineering, enjoying 10 years in his previous job working for a large water company dealing with monitoring, analytics and detection.

To continue with our business expansion, the next few months will see more new members joining our Sales and Service teams to support, lead and manage as ATi continues to grow.  Keep your eyes peeled for more information when they start!
ATi is the fastest growing specialist electrochemical sensor manufacturer in the UK and the expansion of it’s team demonstrates that we are continuing to enhance the award winning service we provide by improving turn-around times for orders, speeding up response times and keeping our valued customers happy as we continue to grow.

ATi’s commitment to the continuous improvement of analytical sensing systems is supported by its expert team of employees who deliver exceptional levels of customer service to our clients.

The growing success of Analytical Technology can largely be attributed to the high standard of customer service we deliver, which has seen us twice awarded for our first class customer service by the WRC’s Instrument User Group (IUG) thanks to our fast response times, low maintenance costs, high quality and efficient monitors and first rate customer support.

Welcome to the Team Mark, Matt, Oliver, Alex, Alicia and Brendan!
