CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT FOR ATI STAFF

We believe that our employees are ATi UK’s greatest asset and we are committed to helping each team member reach their full potential, providing training opportunities to develop knowledge and skills as part of our dedication to continuous improvement.

As part of this ongoing commitment, three more members of our team are currently sitting their latest exams in their relevant vocational qualifications.  Brendan Cocker, our Apprentice Calibration and Repair Engineer, recently celebrated passing his Level 3 Electronic Engineering Apprenticeship Diploma with a Double Distinction, the highest available grade.  Brendon was previously awarded Apprentice Of The Month by the Oldham Training Centre (OTC) due to his “determination to progress well and aim for distinctions in his course work”.   OTC’s Chef Executive contacted ATi directly to congratulate Brendan and said: “The OTC feel this is a much-deserved award and I will present Brendan with a certificate and gift voucher for his efforts”.

Laura Mills, ATi UK’s Financial Administrator, is working towards completing the level 3 AAT Accountancy course, recently receiving qualifications in Advanced Bookkeeping and Final Accounts Preparation and is now preparing for her Management Account Costing exam. Laura has previously worked in accounts departments for a number of years, but ATi has given her the opportunity to study for her AAT qualifications to gain more knowledge and understanding in the financial sector.

Our Environment and Health & Safety Co-ordinator, Abbi Bowler, is busy studying for a 12 month IEMA Environmental Management course, which covers sustainable development, environmental principles and policies, along with environmental management and assessment tools as part of ATi’s commitment to improving our corporate and social responsibility. This month will see Abbi take part in three timed assignments within a three week window and once successful, Abbi will receive her qualification in Environmental Management.

Executive Director Garry Tabor said: “The dedication that Brendan, Abbi and Laura have shown to further their knowledge and expertise is fantastic and helps to ensure our customers continue to receive the high quality of service they expect and deserve.
