ATi never forgets the importance of training its own staff to ensure our service and technical knowledge is first-class…along with having all the up-to-date accreditations required by our customers.
As part of this ongoing commitment, over the last month we have all been on various training courses to make sure we are always on top of our game! This has included confined spaces, manual handling, sales support, 17th Edition electrical qualification, refresher pipe maintenance, ATEX updates and essential training for CCNSG Health and Safety Passports to ensure our staff have the correct credentials to access industrial and pharmaceutical sites. Here are some details of just some of our recent training courses:
Confined Spaces Training
Our expert and award winning Service Team recently took part in a specialist Confined Spaces training course to ensure they are qualified to work in confined spaces or dangerous atmospheres. The course provided training to meet the potential needs of our industry and the situations that may arise in the type of works and service we provide.
Training was delivered by specialist provider Capital Safety Training & Services, located near to our offices in Saddleworth, to not only meet our in-service training and personal development program, but to also offer wider support to our customers that the flexibility of further safe working practices would give.
This worthwhile training event adds further to the Health and Safety attributes and knowledge that the team already possess and we look forward to be able to put this ethos into practice for our customers.
In a forever changing environment, the needs of the customer are constantly being reviewed, with sensors modified to improve user ability. However, with the speed of change comes the need to continuously train. It is often hard to keep up with the additional extras offered, so this is why the staff at ATi (in all departments) are offered training on these changes.
Pipe Refresher Training
The training course is done regularly to make sure each and every engineer with in the ATi Service Team meets the required standards for pipe manufacturing of connections. It’s also to ensure that our engineers are fully trained by the pipe supplier George Fisher which is to the specification of their standards, which guarantees each joint. So our customers will not be let down on site.
Award Winning Customer Service
Our work with water companies, such as United Utilities, Severn Trent Water, Yorkshire Water and Thames Water, have demonstrated time and time again the value of training by improving customer knowledge, reducing maintenance costs and increasing the efficiency of the plants.
ATi prides itself on providing excellent customer service to all of our customers, offering first-rate customer support and response times to any customer requirements.
With more exciting new technology currently being developed, NephNets and ChlorNets flying off the shelf, big installation projects taking place and new water quality frameworks with leading utilities companies, the next few months is set to continue this recent busy form!
