Yorkshire Water awarded us a £ ¼ million supply, install and commission contract part of their company-wide turbidity monitor asset replacement scheme. This contract is for the South area and is the third such project undertaken.
Our new SiteBox product uses the MN node sensor that we supply as part of the MetriNet Smart water network monitoring system. The sensors are mounted and enclosed in a water proof case and allow rapid deployment and start up. A typical configuration has dual validated chlorine, turbidity and conductivity in a volume smaller than a carry on suit case. UU has one instance where a SiteBox was driven to a new site and was reporting data in 15 minutes!
The SiteBox was developed with invaluable and insightful input from the OT team in United Utilities, a true collaborative effort.
This most recent contract worth around £200,000 is for use in a boreholes start up scheme involving 5 sites.
