ATi recently joined the rest of the country in October by hosting its very own cake sale in aid of Macmillan, a charity very close to all our hearts.
A host of beautifully and lovingly made cakes, biscuits, pies, quiches and pastries were made by our talented staff, with everyone donating money to raise £200 to the charity that offers its support to anyone affected by cancer.
Thanks to the hard work of Anna Fieldhouse, the office was transformed into a Macmillan decorated grotto, with themed bunting, balloons, table cloths and games.
When it came down to the all-important decision of who was awarded the coveted crown of Star Baker, Ian Mewitt selflessly offered to be Chief Taster and Judge…it was a tough job but somebody had to do it!
After much deliberation, the cake baked by Michael Newall (and his girlfriend!) won the Show Stopper Award, with Vicky Banks and Anna Fieldhouse both winning the joint Star Bakers Award! Special mention was given to everyone who took the time and effort to bake all the delicious treats – who knew ATi were such a talented bunch?!
A big thank you to everyone for taking part and lets hope next year’s fundraiser is just as successful.
